The beautiful quaint bustling market town of Abingdon is nestled on the river Thames 6 miles south of Oxford.

Our gem of a THS is situated on a flat field, next to the Thames Path, within a few minutes walk of the town centre full of bustling cafés, pubs & restaurants and a handy supermarket.

  • Abingdon County Hall, in the market place, now a Museum dates back to 1682.

  • Oxford can easily be reached by car, bus or along the national cycle network.

  • Scenic walks can be enjoyed along the Thames Path such as south to Culham Lock or a shorter circular walk via Abingdon Lock & Abbey Meadows.

  • Historic Blenheim Palace, birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, is within a short 15 mile drive.
