The beautiful quaint bustling market town of Abingdon is nestled on the river Thames 6 miles south of Oxford.  

Our gem of a THS is situated on a flat field, next to the Thames Path, within a few minutes walk of the town centre full of bustling cafés, pubs & restaurants and a handy supermarket.

Abingdon County Hall, in the market place, now a Museum dates back to 1682.

Oxford can easily be reached by car, bus or along the national cycle  network.

Scenic walks can be enjoyed along the Thames Path such as south to Culham Lock or a shorter circular walk via Abingdon Lock & Abbey  Meadows.  

Historic Blenheim Palace, birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, is within a short 15 mile drive.
